Too bad about El Presidente going monger free, easily my favorite. I loved walking downhill from the Del Rey thru the street bums with a Chica, I loved security given them a hard time and the resultant latina anger huffing and puffing. The look of envy on the faces of gringos and that of seething anger on gringas on the patio was priceless. Plus a great complimentary breakfast, and really good quality towels to steal, I still got a set.

But thats the old days, today I would vote for Castillo.

Castillo is halfway between SL and Taormina. After dark most ticas take cabs.
