Trying to make a reservation at hotel Cocal. Their website that I was using does not allow the ability to make a reservation. No real phone number on website. Hotelcicslresortandcasino.com. Then I ended up on a website vistamarJaco.com. Is this the new website? You can’t book online and you can’t leave a message. You have to call directly, but nobody answers. I sent an email and have not heard back.

Can anybody help explain how to make a reservation at a Hotel Cocal?
Does it booked up? Just wondering if any of driving down there without a reservation if I can still stay there?
More importantly, is there really a need to stay at the hotel? I did read one review that said if you’re not staying at hotel, they won’t let you come into the bar or may give you a hassle if you don’t have a reservation for a room. If this is not a problem, there any other hotels people would recommend.

If this is not a problem, there any other hotels people would recommend. You do not need to have a room there. While more convenient it is more expensive. Search airbnb for places and ask the hosts about their guest policy.

Cocal has always had a difficult and confusing website. It was outdated and didn’t change for many years. All on-line booking used to lead to only booking for Vista Mar condos. Many assumed with no hotel rooms listed they were booked. The website has been updated with new look and pictures, but booking got even worse. The “Book Now” links are all circular, never leading to a booking page. Now the “Contact” page no longer contains phone numbers or an email address. The page has what looks like a place to leave comments if you are logged in, but nowhere on the website is there a place to register or log in. The new graphic design is nice, but as for the necessities for running a business, total failure. The phone numbers posted by LocoGringo are the same as the ones I have. I used to have better luck calling the CR Direct number than getting someone to pick up the toll-free USA number. I also have an email address I typically used info@hotelcocalandcasino.com always got reasonably fast replies

I always book via email. Karol responds very quickly, info@hotelcocalandcasino.com, I splurge and stay at the condos vista mar, pricey but where else can you target a girl from the balcony while drinking rum and coke then run down pick her up, and back to your condo in under 10 min. Condos usually accommodate 3 comfortably. Life is short play the game while you can.
