While staying at the Taormina, Jan this year, I ate at the restaurant attached to the Dunn Inn several times.
Food was really good and reasonable. So no chicas, but worth going to if at the Taormina.

Good to hear that. Definitely different than my experience over 10 years ago when I went there for breakfast. Had and omelette and they charged me $10! I have never returned. Things change and maybe for the better here.

Yes, when they opened they tried to portray themselves as a high class place with high prices. They would also refuse to serve guys who brought a chica who looked like a working girl. At night the lights were so dim you needed a flashlight to read the menu and the check
Time they came down to earth. :D :D :D

In mid May 2022 I was
walking by the Dunn Inn
with a woman on our way to
my room at Taormina.
I said too bad Dunn Inn doesn't allow
guests.
She said not true.
She said just recently a gringo took her back to his room at Dunn Inn.
She said it was no problem.
So now I not so sure if Dunn Inn allows guests?
Or was her recent experience a lucky fluke for the guy...

Im so old that my first trip to CR 10 years ago, I booked room at Dunn Inn and brought back girl from Del Rey. No problem Gringo. Even the door guy smiled and nodded as I walked in to lobby. I like the hotel, and the bar.....but they trying to get "family" business now, I guess.
