| Post subject: | King Room with Balcony - Hotel Castillo - Internet OK? |
For those that have stayed in the king room with balcony at Hotel Castillo, how's the internet? I stayed in a different room last time I visited and it didn't have internet in the room. I'm hoping to not get phucked the wrong way this time. |

Room 18, ground floor king balcony had decent wifi in the room but not on the balcony. By decent I mean I could make wifi audio calls, browse, email, etc. Didn't try video streaming or video calling but wouldn't count on great performance. If you need consistent, high speed internet for multi hour remote working I would be wary. I believe the Selina hostel down the street has mini offices for remote working. Don't know the price. |

I stayed in a penthouse room at the Castillo a week ago. They've done some work on the WiFi and it was noticeably better than it was in February. I had adequate coverage for conference calls. |

I've stayed in # 23, the 2nd floor room w/balcony (directly above # 18) a couple of times. I could browse the web, check e-mail etc. with some interruptions, but trying to play sirius xm from my phone was totally a waste of time as the music repeatedly cut out due to the spotty wifi. |
