| Post subject: | Safe to park a rental car at CoCal and cash vs credit ? |
Hi all, Was planning to spend a few days at the CoCal as part of a longer trip with a rental cal. Should I be concerned parking at the hotel? Also is it advised to pay for my room with cash or credit card? |

The Cocal parking lot has a 24 hr security guard at the entrance. He is mainly there to control access to the hotel, foot traffic and taxi. But he can see all the parking spots from his booth. Shouldn’t be a problem. There are not that many parking spots, way less than one per room. I would ask if they need to be reserved ahead. I would not want to have to leave my car on the street in Jaco overnight. |

I almost always drive when I have gone to Jaco, and never had a problem leaving a car at the Cocal other than being excessively hot when first getting in the next day. Never had a problem finding parking either. |
