Is Interbus that expensive ($80)? Thought was more reasonable. One time my flight was an hour late and Interbus stranded me with no refund. Was only $12 at the time (2008ish) but I remember.

Hello amigos, On Sat March 12th I need a friend to be driven from San Jose to Jaco, a one-way ride as she will return with me. Does anyone know of a dependable driver and how much can I expect to pay? Thank you, can t wait to get to Costa Rica. |

I just checked the Interbus website and door to door transport from the Del Rey to the Cocal is $52. That is their regular service where you specify the pickup and drop off points. They also have an economy service with predetermined pickup and drop-off spots but I couldn't get that to come up on my phone. If this is a local you are transporting, I would just get her a bus ticket. They are used to riding the bus and it isn't too bad. Also you'll be out a lot less cash if she ends up not showing. |

Caribe Shuttle is $44 from San Jose to Jaco. I think Interbus is similar. |
