Just got 15 inches of snow dumped on Jersey Shore last night in to today and I for one am ready to get back to the warm weather and the warm hospitality of Costa Rica. Shooting for April if the job permits... Hopefully by then I can sit in the Blue Marlin amidst a sea of fine tuna, drinking over-priced $12 margaritas, that I will gladly pay because there is no other place I have been that is quite like the HDR. I remember the first time I walked in...there was close to a 100 girls and it was a little overwhelming.... Little did I know I found paradise by the Blue Marlin light (apologies to Meatloaf).

I remember 2001 where the first floor was so packed you could hardly get a seat. Across the street from the Blue Marlin entrance was the Monkey Bar where chicas were waiting to get entrance. I stayed at the Presidente a block away. All the bartenders were 10s although you may not receive your change

I used to say at Balmoral around the corner but the head clerk is a wanker. He would bust chops all the time. Now they are not friendly anymore.

Del Rey opens, not the Roman Colosseum. But, caveat emptor is good Latin advice.

Any reports from Coliseo Del Rey and the promised opening night? Were they offering “jus primae noctis” or “prima nocta” services?
