Been here since Thursday parked at the SL as usual. It’s Friday and Saturday nights with just a couple weeks before Christmas. The bar has been like a Ghost Town both nights. Last night seemed like there were 8 or 10 guys and an equal number of girls, mostly Crap. The ear piercing electronic boom boom music was too much too bare. 15 years ago you would not have been able to move around in here. Tragic.

Given the lack of talent in both hotels, I would prefer to be in the Castillo due to t⁶he music noise level.

How many nights per week does this loud music play at SL?

Out of curiousity, could you define what you mean by "electronic boom boom" music?

Trance? House? Dubstep? Techno? Hip-hop? Rave? Or are we talking about something else (e.g. reggaeton / dembow)?

This trip it was suggested to try Taormina and so did it.

The talent pool there was very very good.

When I arrived, took up one young lady who for a price well below a cien swallowed my leches.

That night had a 10. this one was absolutely stunning.

Will be heading back there on my next trip.

When I first saw this thread thought it was in reference to the Del Rey hahaha!

I luv the techno boom boom music but not at ear piercing levels. Is too bad they are doing this a SL. Maybe PM Bill about it to get the volume down?

The way it’s been these past 3 days it might as well be the Del Rey.

SL - They are restricted to 50% capacity...could be part of it. And 50% of official capacity is about 25% of what they may have had in there in pre-covid times. And the restriction is real, I had to wait outside a couple of times last week.

But the good news is that after sometime in January they can go back to 100% capacity, but everyone has to have proof of vaccination.

Bill’s hearing might be shot by now after exposure to the boom boom music all these years.
