Just a little heads up. If you have booked a trip to CR for the Castillo or La Amistad with all-inclusive you cannot stay at one place and eat at the other hotel restaurant with the all-inclusive. It is good for only the hotel you are staying. Several of us were informed when we booked, we could dine at both with the all-inclusive but when we went to the other hotel (happened for both hotel guests) we were informed we could not get the all-inclusive (free meal/drinks) at the other hotel. Don't get me wrong, still a great deal for food and all the beer and mixed drinks for one unbelievable low price. Keep in mind the wait staff for lunch and dinner usually consists of one person (the bar tender) and they bust their buns to get everyone drinks, food, and do the table cleaning. With that in mind, they give them a good tip for their service they provide, cuz lord they can use the dinero. The staff at the Castillo are 5 five stars across the board, super great people. I hope hotel management appreciate the people they have. |
