I remember when the Castillo was under construction, it was going to be open in 2 weeks for over 2 years. This doesn't mean that HDR will ever be open but just to remind everyone that you never can believe most of what you hear there. Castillo did finally get open and it was a lot of work to get there but the completion deadlines were nothing more than false rumours or just BS. Anyway, it doesnt matter now, the place is open and with happy clients. Hopefully same with HDR but don't hold your breath.

Update, January 8, 2022.

Had a conversation with a friend here who's proclamations are always suspect, but he said he spoke with three mutual friends who live downtown, their credibility is good, he alleges they all said HDR, at least the bar, was open last night.

I say this with a grain of salt, I haven't yet spoken with the credible friends, just the one I nicknamed the "Dreamer", and for good reason...

I'm out in Escazu, have two reliable regulars, no hurry myself to verify, but if anyone is walking around downtown, walk by to check it out.

I'll still wait until I see it for myself...
