So I've been coming to the Castillo pretty much every month for the last year. I work remote, so Internet access is critical. I really like the Castillo for a lot of reasons but the bad WiFi here is making it impossible to stay here any more. It's getting worse and worse. All it would take is a quick replacement of a few WiFi hotspots but management refuses to make the effort. So sad. If you value Internet access, stay somewhere else.

Did you talk to Matt or Darren?

True it is not good in the rooms but the common areas were Ok at least as of this time last year. I don't know what amount and frequency of cloud computing you require but if it was me and mostly work on my laptop I would go where WiFi is strongest for occasional downloads/uploads and email.

There is also a rental office place nearby but may be restricted due to COVID.

SMs open area may have decent WiFi. May want to talk to Bill first then possibly stay there.

Hope this helps.

I've spoken with them. Repeatedly

The problem is that the router for the WiFi network up on the 3rd floor is fubar'd and keeps rebooting. The signal from the router down by the bar is too weak up in the rooms, mainly because of the metal roof. All that needs to be done is a replacement of the bad router and things would be great. But it's been rebooting itself now for months, they know about it, and refuse to get it fixed.

agree 101%, i like to play sirius xm on my phone hooked up to a speaker during relations with a date but after a minute or 2, it cuts our, terrible!!! & my amigo likes to hook up a box to the tv to watch some shows & such during a session, also cuts out after a minute or 2. VERY DISSAPOINTING.......

That would really piss me off especially since on the 3rd floor. Would have to at least go down one floor to the open area in the old wing next to the Captains Room.

Castillo real good for whoring but not so much for work.

If I had to do a bunch of work and needed reliable internet would proly stay in business hotel near Parque Sabana and pay extra for chica fees and/or visit the close by MPs each day!

Lots of other places around San Jose if that place is full.
