Went into the casino to cash some dollars and saw the yellow tape up all around the bar where last night at 7:30 there were 200 some odd people partying. Apparently the cops came in at 9 and shut the joint.

Well, not the whole joint. The restaurant is still open.

Should be interesting tonight to see how they cram 200 people into the restaurant space. I'm thinking people will spill onto the beach. I asked around and nobody knows anything. Why'd they close it? No se. For how long will it be closed? No se.

Those mongers that pulled whatsapp numbers should be ok and maybe benefit from the closing. more sense of desperation from the chicas, MAYBE.

Too bad. Best talent I've ever seen here last night(and you know how down I've been on San Jose). Was only in there an hour last night and saw 6 perfecto spinners and several longer girls who were stunners. I'm sure they'll find a corner to work tonight but i'm just saying. as of this afternoon, that bar is closed.

I was gonna post a photo of the closed bar but it won't let me, so....

the party moved to the hotel/pool next door. Nowhere near as many hotties or guys, though a slim blonde still boldly kept the same opening line, $150 for the hour, rubber everything, no photos. She looked like Michelle Pfieffer in SCARFACE. A hottie playing slots gave me a # and agree to $100 tomorrow morning. Looks like that's the way to go.
This closure can't be good for them. Nobody is saying jack shit about the why here or the when--when it's back. In Angeles City, it's usually just a bigger bribe needed, so...

Doubt that would be possible with something with the visibility of the Cocal. It's known through the whole country and regular folks not allowed to get together would raise all kinds of hell if foreigners were allowed to party (I presume against the rules)..especially mongers.

I have reservations for May 27-31 but I imagine that a few bribes will get this back up and running

Maybe if it was one person making the decision, and no one else the wiser. But this place is watched by the whole country, and you have a whole police force and health department involved. Start with the president and maybe...but you better have a lot of money if you want to go that route.

A bar girl at Oz told me it's a 10 day closing, I was just leaving when the police SUV pulled up and the street was so packed they had to wade through the sea of Chica's, punters' cabs and drug dealers to get inside and only 20% or so had masks on.
Then last night there where far more girls walking the streets and many wandered through the Oz early 6-7 but at 9PM the cops where sweeping people off the streets to close the city down and make the bars close.

Update to the update just walked by at 3pm and only people in and around are employees with yellow tape even around beach bar and restaurant is closed.

And yet when I was pulling out to head to Manuel Antonio I hit the Cocal casino to change money.
Coming out, two phucking smoking spinners. Got some numbers(forgot their names!) but she was good to go
for $100 daytime so maybe the prices are coming down. Will be back next weekend.

Boynton, what did I say would happen with me heading out here?! :o

Damn man, where you heading next? I just want to get out of the way.

Policemen who tried to lift blockades in Quepos are stoned (and not in the good way).

Thanks for the reassurance, ill be sure not to pay Cien especially since they dont have homefield advantage, at least for the time being.

Hmmm... not sure I follow your reasoning... it seems like they may have homefield advantage. But as always...it will be a negotiation process..
