Good to know, I have 8 nights booked at El Rey. I thought the patio would be nice for my afternoon reading hour.

Not a big fan of El Puma. The stairs leading to the bathroom are a drunk trap, and there always seems to be people on the back porch who have loud conversations at 7am.

How is the WiFi in the rooms? Certain areas better than others?

Does the SL allow you to bring a chick in, or is it just the girls at the bar?

You can bring a chica to your room from outside SL or one from the bar. Make sure the girl from outside is not on the SL banned list or they won't let her in.

I have stayed in rooms in the Modern Wing and in the Mansion section and never had issues. If I didn't need to be on any calls, I even sat out at the table by the back bar by the balcony window and worked from there all day with no issues.

In the images on the SL website I see the El Rey is a bathtub. There's only a portion of the tub visible. Can you tell me if that tub is a jacuzzi tub or regular. Thx.

I stayed in the El Rey 4-5 times. I believe it only has a shower also the patio is just an extra room with a couch no view of the outside and no air. Extra space cause the room is really small without it but close to the bar.

I stayed in El Leopardo in Jan 2021, It needs updates but was clean. The best thing was the shower. Being from the US the water flow rate is unbelievable in this room. The worst was the bed, It was vary hard. As for the kitchenette, the stove and sink were not hooked up and there were no dishes or even silverware, not even a bottle opener. I wasnt plan on using any of these but it should not be advertised if a kitchenette isnt stocked and prepared. The patio gate was locked so that was unavailable. There was also traffic noise even though there is a curfew. The second worse was the rooster crowing at 4:30 am and the birds chirping. Needless to say the outside noise, hard bed and other goings on in the room, I did not get any peaceful rest during my stay.

Had a very nice stay in TORRE NEGRO in the mansion wing. A jacuzzi in the room separate from the bathroom Windows would not open, wifi very good and probably the best stay I have had in my many trips.

Stayed in Amistad room about two weeks ago. Nice large room with jacuzzi tub. Noise was not an issue from the bar area.

I've stayed in Esperanza in the Courtyard and Pasion & Pura Vida in the Clubhouse. The two clubhouse rooms were much nicer then Esperanza because of the lack of noise from the bar. Pasion has a glass door shower that opens directly inti the bedroom, so you can get a nice view of your Tica freshening up in the shower.

I had the El Rey booked for my stay next month for 4 nights. I believe I stayed there 1 time before many years ago and it was fine as I recall. But for the past 10 years I've always stayed in the New Mansion wing. I don't know why I booked the El Rey for this trip. I contacted SL last week about making a change and THANK GOD the room that is probably the BEST room in the SL, Toro Negro, was still available so I immediately made the change and am stoked to be back there. Now I just need to work on finding 2 or 3 Babes to join me in that Huge frickin jacuzzi in the room.....
