Is breakfast included at the Sportsmen's Lodge? How would some of you guys rate their food in terms of price and quality?

SL has a continental breakfast including, pastries, muffins, fruit, great coffee, etc....

As far as the food goes, second to none in the city...Definitely have to try the enchilladas an seviche (spelled wrong I am sure)

Also brought back (2) 25 lb dorado from fishing trip, Bill and staff prepared them to perfection for us and most of the guests staying at the lodge at the time....

Enjoy.......will be back there in April....

I was really impressed with the food at the SL.

I wasn't expecting much (going in comparing it to similar places in the US) and it far exceeded my expectations. Both in quality and price.

Just got back from a ten day trip to CR and stayed at the Sportsmens Lodge. The food is excellent. many new items have ben added to the menu from the first time I was there in Dec. 2004. The delmonico steak is very good as is the red snapper. Also, the burrito is a meal and a half in and of itself. Overall, the food quality is uniformly excellent. 3P
