I reserved a room for 5 nights which required a 50% deposit. Oddly, the deposit was charged in two amounts - the 2nd charge being ~ $6 more than what remained of the 50% deposit. I can tell the place has just one manager and her first language is not English. I don't want to be an Ugly American causing trouble about every little mistake - $6 is not a big deal to me - but are these "differences" a common occurrence? Although it's a smaller place, it's well established so I'm surprised that the cost of the hotel is not 100% straightforward and consistent. |
