My friend and I are finished at the dentist on Wednesday and we are going to the beaches of Playa Del Carmen near Cancun but the flights I booked on frontier goes to Orlando and we then change planes to go to Cancun. Do we need a covid test even though our final destination is Cancun?
Thanks

I would say with 99% certainty that you will need a negative test for your SJO/MCO flight before the airline will let you board. When you get to MCO you will go through customs and immigration and enter the USA. Then back through security to board your next flight. You will also need a negative test to board your flight from Cancun to the USA. Call your airline if you would like to be 100% certain.

If you don't like it become an illegal immigrant
and you will never need a COVID test to enter the US

Best to check with your airline, they will know and give you a real answer.
