Post subject:  Looking for a 2 bedroom suite

Hello

Me and my friend are visitng the fantasyland in end October and want to stay around SJO area. Since, we'll be there just for 4 days, there's no point wasting time by splitting the trip with Jaco. Maybe, we should stick to HDR/SL area as suggested by other veterans in this group and maybe, we can do Jaco in next trip.

I can't see any options for a 2 bdrm suite in HDR/SL. Does anybody want to recommend any airbnb? We may rent the car if needed. But don't want to stay too far from action either.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Thanks
Ricky

Thanks!

Damn! It looks like all SL rooms are sold out for my dates Oct. 22-26.

OSO would have been perfect..

Just get seperate rooms at the same hotel. SL, La Amistad,Castillo or Taormina all are chica friendly and no fee
Vista Mar condos next to COCAL has 2 or 3 bedrooms, very nice condos , right next to the action, no need for taxis, huge balconys, no chica fee however you will have to walk with her back down to bottom floor of the condo for her to get her cedula(ID) back but that is for your protection
I would not rent a car($2,500deposit) they drive crazy down there, just take taxis everywhere.

I believe there is a 2 bedroom suite at Pension 506 (zona 2) though I might be mistaken. Regardless it looks like you are trying to book for the week leading up to Halloween. Most hotels will be booked. I would get a room asap. Also ask to get on the SLs waiting list.

The two room suites at Zona II have a smaller room off the big room, so when the guy in the smaller room needs to piss he walks through the big room right past your bed.

penthouse 312 and queen room 313 at Hotel La Amistad connect and have 2 bathrooms...

also an option is Penthouse 311 and queen room 309 which are right across the hall from each other.... 311 has a private BR with full bath that can close off from the bar/kitchen living room area which has a 2nd bathroom

Thank You so much for such a detailed and overwhelming response.

I'm getting queen room options at SL in the modern wing. Has anyone stayed there?

I'm also getting queens at La Amistad. Hows the wifi at LA compared to SL?

Although, LA is $20 cheaper, I might end up booking SL because of its great reviews.

If you insist on 2 bedroom suites instead of seperate rooms adjacent to one another, HDR has 2 and even 3 bedroom suites on their penthouse with rooftop porches and views.

You're also in the belly of the beast, some people love it...some people hate it...but it's never boring...

LA's wifi is pretty reliable because of the limited amount of users logging in as its mainly a hangout for hotel patrons and their guests ... SLs may be more congested if there are alot of chicas and outside guests at the bar loggin in such as during happy hour and events...
but both are good enough for they guys who need to log on to do "work"..

Thank You all. I was able to get 2 deluxe rooms at SL and also requested to put me on waitlist for OSO Grand. 4 weeks wait seems like forever now. :D
