You can’t go wrong with the SL. I’ve stayed there twice since July and have absolutely enjoyed myself greatly. Their staff is the most professional you’ll ever deal with and the food is outstanding.

Thank You all. I was able to get 2 deluxe rooms at SL and also requested to put me on waitlist for OSO Grand. 4 weeks wait seems like forever now. :D

Be aware OSO Grande is not a traditional 2 bedroom suite (2 separate bedrooms+bathrooms with a connecting living room or shared entrance) like you think it is.

Unless it's been remodeled, you walk into a room with a bed, which has a 2nd room connected to it with bedroom/bathroom. Check with SL to make sure you and your buddy are comfortable with the room's layout.

Thanks mh for the heads up. I'll try to get more info on that before the confirmation.

This is correct. I was there with some buddies back in Feb and they were going to share that room; ended up one of them got into an accident on the way to the airport so one buddy had the whole room to himself. I did visit it and you walk right into a room with a bed and then the other room is down a short hall. (I don't recall if the second room had a door or not).

As for availability; email them directly if you haven't. I Was trying to get a room on the website and the dates were showing not available..I emailed them for the hell of it and I was able to get a room for a good portion of my visit. I am now working on the first part of the visit on where to stay; waiting to hear back.

Halloween party on the 30th at the SL I hear is good....hence my visit....and working on getting some friends to come visit too.

Instead of looking for an actual suite you might consider the "Clubhouse" wing at the Sportsmens. There are four (I believe) individual rooms that surround a pretty large living room type area that you could use to party together. It is pretty isolated from the rest of the hotel except for guys going back to use the gym.

And by the looks of a lot of guys I see, that gym is quite possibly collecting dust most of the time, lol....

Gentlemen,

More very good options IMHO:
Sportsmens Lodge rooms; https://sportsmenscr.com/rooms/
The Penthouse
Oso Grande
