Hi everyone,

Last time I was in Costa Rica (fall of 2016), I stayed at the SL and loved it. Thought it had a nice relaxed feel to it compared to Del Rey.

I wanted to check out the Hotel Little Havana this time around. Does anyone have any recent experience at HLH? I'm not really picky with food or drinks. I'm all about the chicas and convenience to chicas.

Agreed! The sister hotels of La Amistad and Castillo are tops for service and atmosphere. Laid back, quiet (after hours), free laundry service, great bar for good conversation with other travelers, very good food, free ride to Jaco if you stay for 4 days. They are also very honest and dependable. I once left a large wad of cash and my passport in the room safe. One call from Jaco and discovered that they had found my property and saved it in the front desk safe until I returned. I always stay at La Amistad for the first and last 2 days regardless of where else I may go in CR.

Not sure why anyone would choose HLH over LA, Castillo or SL
I am a Castillo resident ( monthly lol) and there is a reason
