I recently got back for a quick 2 night stay at the Hotel La Amistad and I am writing this update because as you all well know that many many times places that become too popular lose the customer service that made it that way.

Good News!!!!

La Amistad is better than ever.

The menu has some great choices and I was as satisfied as before. ( PORK CHOPS BABY!!!) lol

I love the all inclusive package and I hope Matt does really well and keeps this going.

I did try Hazel's massage or whatever her name was since it was half price. and to be honest this was my very first NON sexual Massage in all my years in Cost Rica.

at first all I could think about was "NO HAPPY ENDING" "NO HAPPY ENDING" which lasted about 13 min into the massage then I slowly drifted off into slumber land and experienced such a level of relaxation that I have not felt in years!!!

I awoke with a little embarrassment since I am positive I was snoring although she denied it.. sweet thing she is

My body felt so relaxed that my testicles descended if you can understand what I mean to say. my balls when I went to take a shower actually lowered and dangled instead of being so high up in the sac.


now that is relaxation my brothers!!!!!

It was a great experience and promised myself to make this the beginning of every return visit as well before I have to leave.

I could be wrong on this because I never measured but withing an hour i was getting a happy ending massage at HLH and I felt I gushed more juice than I have in years.. don't know if relaxing adds to this at all.

now I just read that there will be a FREE shuttle service to Jaco so for $79 not only I have my room and free meals all day and drinks.. but now I can go to the beach for FREE???

how is this even possible???

I am beginning to think that La Amistad is Government subsidized.

not everything was perfect.. my air conditioner was on the fritz- but was upgraded to a new room A.S.A.P.

great customer service.

anyway.. La Amistad was the highlight of my trip with a few additional trips to HLH which were also pretty good.

I haven't heard a negative thing yet about "All-included" La Amistad. La senora and I are looking forward to being "all-included" at LA in November for a few days. And it will be great to see Hazel again, and enjoy one of her fantastic massages. (I was Hazel's practice dummy while she was going to massage school. )

not only all inclusive BUT, Hazel can make your nut sack hang! Now that is service!!

I'm midway thru my first trip to CR. Staying at Amistad. Hat's off to Matt and Don and the crew. Nice facility, excellent food, great service. I'm impressed...and that's not easy to do. Met some great guys from around US, some vets who have been happy to "splain" things to a rookie. I'm having some extensive dental work done and asked a few little favors and Don happily assisted. Hate being special but needed it and he and everyone have been very gracious. Have to return later to complete the work and will definitely stay here again. No train problems nor any others. Highly recommend it. The all inclusive is good for rookies on their own, don't have to worry about where to go to eat and everything I've had is excellent. Looking forward to the return trip. Again...THANKS guys and good luck!!

I'm not a big massage lover but Hazel will blow your mind, she is professionally licensed and been doing great massages, real massages over 10 years. No happy ending, no sexo but a REALLLLL massage. Very few of these girls give even a half ass massage.

Don't expect a sweet lovey dovey soft touch, she gets to work right away and twists those knots out, you'll yelp like a whipped puppy hating the failed New York Times more than once, but I swear, you will be high for an hour or two after a Hazel massage, you won't be walking, you'll be floating....
