Fire Affected Hotel Del Rey in San Jose, Costa Rica

The Del Rey Hotel, a known sexual tourism hotpot located in downtown San Jose, Costa Rica near the Morazan Park was affected by a fire this Wednesday evening, at around 7 p.m.
The five story building had to be evacuated, but fortunately no one was hurt. Apparently the fire began in a room in the third floor for reasons that are not clear at the time.
Several firefighting units arrived quickly at the scene and were able to control the fire before 8 p.m.
The room where the fire originated was naturally the most affected by the fire and smoke.
This Monday a fire also affected the El Martino Hotel in La Garita de Alajuela, causing damages to about 500 square meters of the infrastructure. The fire started out in the hotel’s kitchen, it was controlled quickly by the firemen and there were no victims.
I thought that was a well guarded secret
So much for the smoking ban!

And the policia had to be called to extricate the firemen from the Blue Marlin.
