i won't go into the rumor but is there any update ? are our reservations safe or should we move if coming in november ?

Unless they are going to pull some major last minute sheit, which would really be bad publicity, most reports here indicate your reservations should be good. But why not make a back-up reservation at another hotel just to hedge your bet?

I reserved for Nov 8 thru 10th, girl taking reservations said all employees are aware of the rumors but heard nothing from management, in fact management said business as usual. I've heard these rumors before, been coming there since 2005... :? :? :?

Give me a shout if you'll be around then, after the 10th, from the 11th thru 18th I'll be at Vista Linda, about 20 minutes away, they have fully furnished one bedroom apartments with maid service, $150 a week, monger and chica friendly!

I've always found afternoon girls are less expensive than night girls at HDR, I bet it's the same at SL, I also discovered early morning girls at HDR are reasonable, and believe it or not, I know it's been 2 years since I've been there, but in 2014 and 2015 I found $50 hotties at 6 a.m. that would have been getting cien in the evening... :D

Recently heard rumor about HDR. Sent email last night asking about status of motel. Received reply this morning with a smart ass remark stating first of all they are not a motel to begin with! Then went on to say that we should not believe everything we hear. Stated that they would send information to people if things were changing.
Have reservations for December but thinking of changing after the smart ass remark. Have stayed here for years and staff has always been super nice. Any updates please let me know.

In USA motel means motel 6, In Costa Rica a motel is a place renting rooms short-term, usually 1-12 hours for sexual relations. The DR is a hotel renting rooms on a nightly basis

I just walked into hdr and sat down, had a beer and checked out the scene...reporting it’s business as usual in all aspects of the operation; hotel, casino, bars, chicas, staff and blend of ticos and gringos customers. Crossed the street and had lunch at restaurant Del Mar...same old same old.

Life goes on!!

I saw on another board that apparently they have been sold and it is up in the air as to whether or not the culture of the place will change. i don't know if this is the case as i came across this while reading up about SJ since I am hoping to go there sometime around January.

Who knows what will happen in the future, but I was just there 11/8 thru 11/10 and it was a blast, tons of beauties parading about at night, and surprisingly, perhaps it's the rumors, a lot less guys, it was a buyer's market, not a one of my pickups demanded cien, they were happy to get picked. :P

Perhaps a drawback to the less guys being there was some were more desperate than I've experienced in the past and many were giving cat calls, staring you down, approaching you, just walking over to your table and sitting down, usually those are the less desirable ones. I just shoo them off like the pigeons at the square...

One "oldie" approached me while I was sitting by myself in the bar by the lobby, it went like this ; "Do you want some company? (Nope.) Can I sit here with you? (I'd rather you didn't.) walks away, 10 minutes later sits next to me. I'm silent, ignore her. Buy me a beer? (Nope.) Don't you want to talk? (I believe we had this discussion before, didn't we?) You're RUDE! (Sorry honey, I'm looking out for you, you're here to make money and there isn't a prayer in hell you'll get any from me) Silence, then she leaves... :lol: :lol:

Since I've been coming here shortly after Columbus discovered the place, it's mildly annoying to me but some guys don't care for it. :x When I'm on the hunt, I keep moving around looking for quieter "finds" and "gems" not calling attention to themselves, usually alone, no group of friends.

I run the dawgs over like a hunting lion harassed by jackals and hyenas, then I catch my kill and drag her up to my room like a leopard drags their prey up a tree to not be interrupted while feasting.... :mrgreen:

Is that analogy too weird? Oh well, that's my m.o. and it works for me.... 8) 8) 8)

girls were very aggressive and passed by like a sea of putas
if you sat anywhere close to the bar it was a siege
hands and faces
tits and asses for days
