Can anyone help me out with some recent info on Cocal Vs Crocs for a few night visit? I realize there are pro's and cons of each place.

I have stayed at both so I'll start with Cocal. The hotel rooms on the first floor in the parking lot have 2 full size beds in them and not much room for anything else. I mixed my own drinks in the room and took them to the bar area. Even brought a few chicas to the room for a drink. It's a short walk. The best part of the COCAL is if you get a bad vibe in the room just send them away, you don't need to give taxi money. Go back and get another one. The wifi is weak but can work in the afternoons and night forget it. This would be a simple , inexpensive fix but I guess the owner doesn't care. The drinks at the bar are fairly expensive. There are many afternoon girls but the pool is not much. The breakfast is okay and it is nice sitting out looking at the ocean in the morning. I stayed 4 nights and the total was $321 with tax.(July 2014) The rates are about $ 20 to $40 more now. If you plan on mutiple encounters this place is great. The amount of very attractive chicas is incredible. The hotel is clean with security at the front gate. I would sit outside in the chairs in front of my room and watch the chicas leave and walk out to the main highway. I invited many chicas for one last session before I went to bed and 4 chicas in a row asked for money upfront and finally the fifth chica agreed to be paid afterward. I was sessioning 3 times a day. It was crazy. Now its called the Frog's bar. Your first time I would stay at COCAL. It's a great time and you will probably pick up at least 1 bad chica but you can't hit a home run everytime.

The CROC'S is such a beautiful super clean hotel and the staff is great. I won a couple hundred dollars in the casino and this is the only casino I would gamble, in Jaco. The pool is very nice but not a lot chicas in it. Breakfast is included and is very good with a buffett on SAt. and Sun. The bar is really nice and talk and drank with a few american couples. Rooms are very nice and spacey. Very nice showerheads in the bathroom. Wifi was great and I like to listen to videos on youtube and it worked just like here in the US. King size bed was awesome with very nice sheets. Paid $145 per night. I stayed in May and found a very nice chica from Quepos at COCAL where we went into the resturant and she ordered some fish and guzzling silver Imperials. Jumped into a taxi and she was all over me in the back seat. Back to CROC'S bar for another drink or two and I did not check her in. Had a great session and bed moved 2 feet away from the wall. Ask her to stay all night, she agreed and it was great laying next to this 20 yr old beauty with a 3 and 1 year old ninos. A young Sofia Vegara and was sweet as could be. She left at 8 am and I then called favorita and she was on her way from Cartago. Spent the rest of the time with her and she drove me back to SJ. My wingman picked up a chica in CROC'S casino late Sat nite. The hotel is just so comfortable and I will return

How much did you paid for the young Sofia Vergara? What did she do?

Thanks for the detailed reports.. It sounds like its a total toss up with pro's and cons of both places. This is a tough one, I sure like convenience but wifi and the luxury's are nice too.

Has the guest policy loosened up at Crocs any? They seemed pretty lax last time I went. Pool deck had lot of noisy K*ds but it was closer to high season.

What about the disco party? Any better now?

I just got back from staying 4 nights at crocs.The front desk manager who checked me in discreetly told me that I could bring company in between 6pm and 5am. I did see a couple of working girls at the bar next to the casino on Friday afternoon but other than that it was mostly families. They also only allow you to bring in 1 girl at a time. It worked for me because cocal is only a 3 dollar cab ride away and they seem to have action all day but the superstars show up later in the evening.

Crocs no longer allows working girls into their establishment.
