I'm looking for a decent hotel in MA/Quepos for 1 night. Nothing fancy, just a place to crash without insects. I'll have a rental to location is not an issue. Any suggestions? |

http://www.villapratscr.com/ Villas Prats is close to the beach. Decent rooms at decent prices... breakfast may still be included. |

like costa verde out of all the places i stayed there villa pratis is nice but total budget and not too close to the beach, great owner and homey karahe is actually on the beach like byblos but karahe rooms are pretty budget unless they have renovated great place to take a girl you like |

Karahe is nice if you are on the beach side of the property however you do not want to be walking the beach at night. Also don't feed the Iguanas at their restaurant as they get a little testy. If you cannot get a room for a decent price I have also stayed at Mimos and thought that was a good value and nice accommodations. I also liked Villas Mymosa 2777-1254 as it was quiet, and about halfway between Quepos and Manuel Antonio with easy in and out. Also close to the turn off for Ronnies Place (best place to watch the sunset in the area). |
