Not your typical B&B but check them out. We stayed there for 3 days and had a blast. The breakfasts were great and they have a ton of info they can share with you on things to do and what to see. I did not use them for setting up my excursions but they can be of great help saving you some money there too. Things we did in 3 days was took a chocolate tour, explored Cavenas Venados, Spent a day at Baldi Hot Springs on a Day Pass. www.treehouseshotelcostarica.com |

In the center of town across from the Lava Bar and the convenience store is La Fortuna Hotel and Hostel. Private rooms with or without a/c. Secure parking . Sister property a block away has the pool for use with a pool bar. $ 42-55 a night. Has all tours available. Not the Ritz but very convenient and clean. http://hostelbackpackerslafortuna.com/ |
