Stayed at the Sheraton Escazu on my first trip (on business last year), got introduced to the HDR, and got dinged for $80 (which I was happy to pay prior to joining CRT) for a "known" working chica going to my room. My point man (RIP) and I stayed there 2-3 times last year. After he died in April, I've relocated to the Gulch so I can be in the middle of P4P action.
Sheraton has great staff, decent food (better in the upstairs restaurant), excellent breakfast buffet, fabulous beds (Beautyrest mattresses). Rooftop club is very nice with a great view, & something your "civilian" women will enjoy for lunch or if they come by after dark.
Back to the guest fee. We only paid it once. We complained when we noticed we were stopped for a fee whenever we brought in Afro-Latina women, but light-skinned chicas were never stopped if they were with us or anyone else. Told management, "You only stop Black women-we are Starpoint members and have never been treated this way, every Black woman is not a sex worker," and were never bothered with a "guest fee" on 3 subsequent visits.
We also noticed that chicas who regularly work there know the drill and head straight for the front desk, which will cost you $. I had to direct my first regular chica who works HDR and is obviously known at the Sheraton not to "check in." No beef from the hotel, but this was after we complained. If one of their "Secret Service" guys stopped us getting on the elevator, we'd tell them we are going to the rooftop club if we didn't feel like getting into a beef with them. We would go to the roof, get a drink, then go to our rooms.
You won't have a problem since your women are civilians who will probably be dressed "appropriately," and you all act like you're supposed to be there. It's no "casa de putas" by a long shot. I don't consider them to be girl-friendly, but they are an excellent hotel. Typically $125/night on the Sheraton site (plus fees & taxes), including breakfast. But no CRT discount
