Is the Marriott in Los Suenos chica friendly?

Nope.

The easy answer is no. The real answer is not really.

If the girl fits the dress code, she will usually be allowed inside. That means, don't bring her to the hotel dressed like a hooker and don't act like it's the HDR (except in your room). Occasionally (not often) there are a few high-class working girls at the bar near the lobby at night. Marriott Los Sueños is a high-priced hotel, so the girls are priced accordingly. You'll have to make the approach, as the management doesn't take kindly to the girls working the crowd.

Marriott is a Tico-friendly hotel, and I've been there on many occasions (both Los Sueños and San José) when the Ticas outnumbered the Gringos. I belong to the Tucan club, which is only for residents and citizens. It gets you into that gorgeous pool for free, but a day pass for foreigners is $50. Tucan offers other decent discounts throughout the year. Green season is a good time to hunt. Last year, Marriott ran a Tucan special in October for $99 per night for 2 adults with breakfast. I took advantage of it, and when I arrived, it was Tica heaven. I hooked up once for free and once for pay. You just have to keep it very low key.

If you get any bunk from the door guys or manager, just register her in your room as your girlfriend. The door guys are very cool unless you're being a jerk or she's acting like a hooker.

On the other hand, there are lots of cheaper and more fun places to stay, just down the road in Jaco. Staying at Marriott for the sole purpose of mongering is a bad idea.

Some good information there.

I may consider the Marriott in Jaco for some hobbying although Los Suenos is not off the table.

I will be going to do some fishing and definitely for some playtime fun.

Less risk of getting the chica to your room! As in it is far less likely that you will get her there.
