I will be staying in Jaco the middle and last part of November. During that three nights around two weekends I'm going to stay at the Cocal. However in the middle of the two bookend weekends I have booked four nights at Claritas. I was thinking I could just bring girls back from the cocal during that period in the middle of the week. now reading about the violence I'm wondering if there's a better place to stay instead of having to bring the girl back via taxi from the Cocal . Opinions?? |

IMHO, you're more likely to be victimized by the mercenary chicas than by a drug-crazed Tico. |

Redfield 10.....the violence is overstated Enjoy your vacation Personal I believe the only p l aces to stay are cocal or crocs but I'm sure if a place is Chica friendly and has security it's fine. If A Chica wants to take you somewhere else for a drink make sure it's Los amigos green room or crocs don't let them manipulate you into going out of jaco or to a dive only use regular red cabs. |

Well maybe should have stayed at Mango Mar during the four weekdays I won't be staying at the Cocal but maybe won't make much diff as long as I take a red taxi with the chica back to Clarita's . I only do short times anyway. My original reason for Clarita's was a change of pace from staying at the Cocal for nine days straight (will still be staying there during the two weekends). Btw, will be staying at Amistad a three days before and two days after Jaco. Thanks for the info guys! |

Probably ok if I use red taxi, go right to the room, lock up valuables, and just do a short time! |
