Altho it was 10ish years ago, I stayed at the Alhambra, right on the village square. Very inexpensive, yet nice |

There have been a few recent threads with good info. I plan to spend some time there soon. I also plan to check out Esteli in the northern part of the country. Esteli is a VERY NICE city..... nicer than Cartago or Heredia IMHO. |
