Hey fellas,

I just booked my trip in Amistad but I have a friend that wants to go with me, but hes looking for some guest friendly budget hotels? Hopefully under 50 usd dollars.

Any one has any input?

El sonador around the corner from automercado. 5 blocks from DR. 20$ per night. 100$ per week. Popular with mongers.

If I was coming and had a buddy on a budget, I'll look at the two-room suites Jimmy has at Zona2. Very spacious main room and for the buddy a smaller but still private room as well.

That was what I was shooting for but Zona 2 is sold out for my dates. The other place with a two room suites that I know of, is Hotel Balmoral but they are strict.

I have never stayed here, but right down the street from La Amistad is Hotel Vesuvio. On the hotel web site the basic room is $45 a night plus tax. I have heard both good and bad about this hotel but I do know it is chica friendly as I have had friends stay there before and they had no complaints.

Hotel is in between Sportsman and Amistad.
