A heads up that there is a planned taxi driver strike scheduled for 5am on Tuesday morning that will essentially lock down the city. Anyone flying out on Tuesday should make plans for heading to the airport before 5am. The manager at my hotel tipped me off and multiple taxi drivers confirmed it.

Apparently the taxi drivers are going to strike over the arrival of Uber in the country, which has apparently crippled the Taxi industry.

Hope this message helps somebody. I'm heading to the airport at 4am, hopefully after just one more successful hunt at Del Rey.
