Post subject:  Does Nature Air Still Exist?

When I try "natureair.com" I keep getting error messages. On Wikipedia it shows their hub as Juan Santamaria. I know that Sansa flies out of Juan Santamaria but when I flew Nature several years ago they flew out of another smaller airport in San Jose. I think it was named Pavas or something like that. Did Nature Air get acquired by Sansa?

Thx.

Their Facebook page has postings from yesterday and I was on their website last week. They moved their main flight operations to SJO From Tobías Bolaños International Airport (the general aviation / charter field at Pavas) and took all their Caravans out of service, replacing them with Czech LET L-410s (a 19-passenger twin engine commuter aircraft) and their one Twin Otter.

The Lodge uses both SANSA (out of SJO) and Aerobell charters (out of Tobías Bolaños - Pavas) for flights to the Barra.

Correction: Nature Air never ran Caravans. Yoy're thinking about Sansa. NA ran Twin Otters exclusively, but looks like they replaced most of thenwith these Czechosolvakian planes. I'd rather walk to the beach than fly in a Czech-made plane that has been bought from the Russians after being used and abused in commercial service for the last 20-40 years. LOL
