| Post subject: | Hotel Paradise - short time hotel |
Was passing through chepe on a Tuesday nite and had arranged to see a favorita for 2 hours. Since I didn't have a hotel room (and she had ID this time) we skipped Asia and went back to Paradise. I forgot the rates (1 hour, 2 hour) but the 'nightly' rate was $35. They handed us the key to room 90, which shocked me because I didn't think they had anywhere near that many rooms nor floors. As we walked to the second stairs, the woman pointed us down the regular hallway. Now, I knew that hall, and there ain't no 90 rooms down there, but we did the walk looking at each door number until we reached the end. No room 90. Had to turn back and find the woman so that she could take the key and flip it upside down to teach us that "90" is "06" turned 180 degrees. Yeah ... a San Jose hotel maid schooled me. Where's my sign? |
