I'll be back for my 3rd trip in a few weeks and need to book a room. I'll be at mango mar over the weekend for the proximity to cocal but I have a few days before and was thinking about crocs. Its showing $120 a night which seems like a good deal.

Anyone stayed there recently and can confirm the chica policy? If not I might go for South Beach, I had a really nice time there last time I went. The beach bar is really nice.

Thanks!

It has been a couple of weeks since I've had anyone stay at Croc's (thanks Holy Week  ) but they've been girl friendly for a good while now. They must be checked in (usually at the guarded front gate) and remember, that is a CR law NOT something the hotels just do and it is for your safety so don't try and 'sneak' one in...just no reason for it.

Croc's is a very nice place and I've heard nothing but good about it except for when they put you in a room too close to the nightclub and music keeps you up. Look for something above the 4th floor...

Good to know, I might pull the trigger and go for it.

Thanks.

my last trip in January, I stayed here two different times, for 4 days and then 3 days, oceanview 8th floor high season was pretty pricey. Thought the food was average, the service was excellent though. Great pool area and bar. The casino didn't really do much for me (or any in CR for that matter) Felt very secure but I kind of missed being able to stroll out of my room right into the heart of Jaco.
