The owner of the Freebird Hotel asked me to inform the members that he has closed the Freebird and had to return to the United States. As many of you may have known, he has had previous health problems and recently received bad news about his condition. As a result he will remain in the United States, through end stage treatment.

He regrets that reservations may have been lost or the news of the closure may have been slow to distribute. However, it has been a difficult time for him, and he hopes members would understand.

Although the hotel is closed, the building is for sale. Please PM me if you are interested in contacting the realtor.

I heard the news about Dennis. Sad news indeed
