Thinking of trying the Courtyard rooms at the SL on our next trip. I like the price and having a walk in shower. I have stayed in the Modern wing, Clubhouse and Mansion. I tried to identify two choices that I am trying to recall their location from previous visits. I realize that the rooms are noisier than other choices.
I would appreciate comments on the Belleza and Tranquilida and their location within the Courtyard area. If anyone has other recommendations it would be much appreciated.

Tranquilidad was just recently remodeled, this room now includes a nice sofa and a new wall sized mirror in the bedroom

I did stay in the Tranquilidad and I didn't think it had a sofa, but did have a chair.

Broke the bed in Tranquilidad on my very first night to ever stay in Sportsman's. Girl I was with thought it was hilarious. I was embarrassed to tell management, so I just planned to sleep on it that way. Anyway, after a day of exploring San Jose, I came back to the room about 5:30 to take a nap and shower for the night. Low and behold, I guess the maid reported it and maintenance had fixed the bed. I never heard anything about it after that and did not have any other issues, except the noise.

Would I stay there again? Probably not, but I was on a much tighter budget back then. It is a great room for beginners, or hobbyists on a tight budget, just remember to bring ear plugs if you want to sleep. Those clompy stack heels some of the girls wear, sound like Clydesdales walking by tour room.
