Would appreciate any information on the following SL rooms: Hermosa, El Tigre, El Mono and El Zorro. Specifically, any comments on the relative quietness of these rooms and any other pros or cons experienced. We've stayed at LA several times and will do so again in January but are considering adding a few nights at either SL or ML. Thanks in advance.

El Mono is the largest room on your list and is the quietest of the four with a King bed and nice window with a pleasant view. Upstairs in the Mansion Wing. A customer favorite...
El Zoro also in the Mansion Wing of the SL is also quiet but is a little smaller with a Queen bed. Also upstairs second floor.
El Tigre main floor of the Mansion Wing, King bed first room of the Mansion wing, perhaps a small amount more of passers by but convenient to the main bar area.
Hermosa is almost always occupied because of its many windows and access to the bar & restaurant in the Modern Wing. King Bed. Windows face the San Jose Zoo you might hear the birds especially in the morning.

I am looking at booking a room at SL. The "Pura Vida" says it has 2 twin beds, but the photos look like the beds are full or even queen. Can you clarify if the beds are actually twins? Thanks!

UPDATE: I wrote the SL and got a response back that those are twin beds.

What is the name of the room/rooms on the first floor that are behind reception close to the street..........not in the hallway as you enter, but as you have your back to the bar at reception facing the street, they are on your left?

Alegría is the first you come to. Then Pura Vida, Alegria are in the back. Pretty sure the 3rd one back there is Tranquilidad

As El Silencioso posted the room on that side just the reception in the Courtyard area is Tranquilidad and just down a ways the Esperanza room.

For posterity sake, the beds are doubles/queen size. More than enough room for activity with 1 (or 2) chicas. I have stayed in it twice as i ilke the semi privacy that the clubhouse offers and the price. Every time you bring a chica in, the first thing they say is "dos camas! Una para amor, y una para dormir", and i say si!
