I am staying at the Radisson in a few weeks and am wondering how they can hassle you if you walk in with a "working girl". It's my first time there, but can't you just say it's your girlfriend?

I contacted the Radisson and explained my "girlfriend" from Costa Rica will be joining me during my stay. They just asked for her name to add to my reservation. I'll speak to my hotel contact when I arrive, since there may be several "girlfriends" joining me.

I prefer La Amistad's all inclusive plan. If you like to eat, drink and phuck like I do you just can't beat the deal.
And it's very peaceful compared to HDR and Sportsman. And only one block away from The Sportsman.

I have always felt very safe staying there and the Sportsman Lodge as well. One thing about La Amistad that I have found, is that all the chica's love it there especially when I ask them to have dinner .

The hotel has a very nice bar/restaurant that's always a great time without the noise.

I guess we all have our own style and have to find what works for each of us.

I'd call or email them and ask what their guest policy is. If they're not chica friendly, I'd cancel that reservation and book at one of the many "gulch" hotels that we know are. I'd be surprised if they are chica friendly.

if the girl is not going to be with you when you check in a lot of hotels will give you grief but I'm pretty sure getting a girl into the radisson is not all that hard even if they do have a policy not a bad idea to call the hotel if nothing is listed on the website if you still have an option to cancel and change since the hotels that do not want working girls are on higher alert when they are just outside of the gulch like the radisson is good luck

We have known chica friendly options. If you are bound to the Radison for some reason I'd call AND email and ask about their guest policy. If you get ok on both then bring a printout of the email with you. Not directed to the OP, but I sense some guys are afraid to make a phone call and ask this kind of stuff. Not sure why. I have no problem contacting the hotel and also getting it in writing. Thanks for the tip.

I suggest you book a "girlfriend" friendly hotel.

blackhawks19 I know it's your first trip. And the SJ Radison is probably a fine hotel... but not for bringing in girlfriends as you've found out. Unless you are on the Radison board of directors or something there is no compelling reason to stay there. And do check the map - the distance between Radison and Del Rey (and many other action spots) is not trivial. You'll be in a taxi more than you think. In terms of budget and amenities you can find comparable closer to our stomping grounds and chica friendly to boot. Nobody in the know on CRT would recommend the Radison. If you are on business or something that's a different. You'll curse yourself for staying there if you plan to entertain a number of girlfriends. I appreciate the feedback. I like the amenities and level of security that Radisson provides. Also, I don't need to be at ground zero, because I do want a little peace and quiet. I am open to any recommendations with similar amenities as the Radisson.

Free laundy as well. Deals on airport pickup and Jaco excursion depending on length of stay. Hotel Taormina & Casino (formerly Mona Lisa) is worth a look too. Bar and lobby are swanky. Reminds me of a newer Sheraton. I've heard the remodeled rooms are equally nice. You can get a great deal on the old rooms if you want to save some coin. fwiw if the amenities you are attracted to are the golds gym and the pool then there is absolutely nothing even close to that w such close (walking) proximity to the gulch...

Deals on airport pickup and Jaco excursion depending on length of stay Oh yeah and I almost forgot, If you stay 4 or more nights at La Amistad with all inclusive plan you get a free ride back to the airport. So that's another $35 extra in your pocket. Can't go wrong here.

I'm reviving an old thread, since didn't want to start a new one for simple question: Is it generally acceptable to walk that one block from Sportsman to a room you're staying at in La Amistad? If it's a "long" block, I wouldn't think it would be kind to ask her to walk it.\\ Or just play it safe and get a taxi...
