Yes, the food is not great, but where is it in CR?
Nice pools and they have entertainment in the evenings
It has a big clean beach but not much character
Depending on what you are looking for I would say it is a decent value

Thanks, LAdiablo....just looking to get on the beach awhile and hang by the pool to drink beer. Got a super rate of $140.00 a night so I might just take it. You're right about the food in CR!

thats a good place to do it
recommend driving in to puntarenas and taking the car ferry
pretty sure i recall all the beer you can swill as long as you can stand on two legs :lol:

If you have a car you should really take a day trip to Santa Teresa--only 45 minutes and great beaches and quite a place to see--it is definitely Costa Rica--great beaches and very interesting little city--dirt roads--good restaurants--pretty drive
