I've been asked to help plan a trip for my boss. She prefers a chain hotel (Marriott, Hilton, etc) closest to the Liberia International Airport. I saw a Best Western. How is it, and is it non-mongering? What are the other chain hotels in that area? As an alternative, what are some good hotels close to Liberia International for Americans? Thanks. |

How about the coastline? Tamarindo. Any good chain hotels there catering to the AMerican crowd? She's an older lady in her mid-40s. A regular lady. |

Close to the Liberia airport and nice would be the Hilton Garden Inn. |

Alright, and how about the coastline? Something that is close to Liberia International. I'm thinking Tamarindo. Any ideas there? She prefers chain style hotels. Thanks PuraVidaTransport and dskreet for the comments. |

There are a ton of great resorts in that area like the Four Seasons or Papagayo (used to be a Hilton). Really way too many to name and outside Papagayo, I haven't stayed at any others. The Papagayo was very nice when it was a Hilton 4-5 years ago. Here is a link to Trip Advisor's Top 10 - http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g3092 ... otels.html |

Tamarindo Diria is a nice hotel. It is on the beach, but the newer section is across the street. I prefer the newer section and the walk to the beach is very short. They have a great breakfast buffet. The hotel is in the center of the town and you can walk everywhere |

Orange, I have only stayed there 6 times, but I have never seen this as a mongering hotel. It is usually filled with families. I think you might have the wrong hotel in mind. |

The Diria is a family hotel and they don't allow hookers where as the other hotels and bars have a ladies night at a different place and all the Hookers show up at ladies night. There is a resort called Conchal in Brasalito that is very nice and not a mongering resort. Great Beach and good restaurants on the premise! There is also a Best Western in Flamingo that is nice and on the ocean and Flamingo is a beautiful place! There are so many nice places in Guanacaste that you should let her get on the internet and google hotels in Guanacaste and she can pick her own place. Propman48 |
