So, I'm planning for Mid-March. I've been out to Jaco once and would like to return there. I stayed at the Hotel Balcon del Mar on the beach. It was wonderful as it went, cost me $65.00 a night for two, and I took one of my favorite gals with me. Problem was, NO PHUCKING HOT WATER, god I hate that.

So, was reading here on the board, the Tangeri sounds just about perfect, but is $84.00 a night, a bit steepper than I wanted to pay. The location is right, 1 block from the beetle bar and no guess fee.

So, can anyone make any other suggestions for rooms in Jaco that are close to the beetle bar, cost something like $65.00 a night, have no guest fee, and HAS HOT WATER?

Also, has the quality committee been to the beetle bar lately? I've seen posts in the past that there aren't a lot of good looking women there. A recent post by someone says they picked up one of the girls I had from the Del Ray there one night. Recent experiences please.

If Copacabana is booked, try Estrellamar which is just down the road towards town on the same side of the street as BeattleBar. Run by nice Eurpean couple, clean, hot water, nice pool, and central location to walk to beach, beattle bar and downtown restaurants/bars.

Tman, there is a post here that indicates that Copacabana will had a guess fee of $25.00 to your bill for every chick you take up. I might bring my own with me and then it isn't a problem. Can someone confirm please?

NEVER chica fees for CRT VIPs. Just see Leo the manager upon checking in. He is definitely in our corner. The only times he has had problems is if guys are obnoxious or making too much noise for his other guests. He's very cool if that isnt the case. Your biggest problem may be getting a reservation there. I just heard they're booked up for the next couple months. But it is the best beach walkout hotel in Jaco in my opinion...if only because its so close to the Beattle Bar  .

DC,

If mid-November is recent enough for you, I can assure you there will be no lack of eligible Ticas to choose from at the Beatle Bar. There isn't really an afternoon scene like the Del Rey though - all the action starts later, around 9:30-10:00 pm. For me, it was a nice change of pace from San Jose and the Marlin, and I would definitely go back.

Was in the Beatle Bar last night. The talent is NOWHERE near the talent in San Jose. About like a bad Sunday morning in the Del Rey.
