I just spent 2 awesome nights in the (non-chica-friendly) Hotel Presidente's Executive Spa suite. It's about $120 a night (incl.tax), and is a very nice, clean, comfortable place. The only negative was the noise from the window (directly over Avenida Central). There was a band banging drums outside of the Claro store until 8pm. Not really the hotel's fault, but it needs to be said. The room had a separate living room, dual A/C's, and a large jacuzzi tub. 3 distinct sizes of pillow so you'd be comfortable. Very professional, but not quite 'home'. The La Amistad suites I have stayed in beats it HANDS DOWN! |

An old monger told me that they even carded him when going up to visit a friend, so they clearly don't want the 'Puchos' business either. They are also doing lots of renovations, so money's coming in. But I'd not call it busy at all. I barely saw anyone else. |
