Hey guys, Heading down first week of November with a couple other guys. I stayed in a pool side room my first trip. Figure on looking at a 3 bedroom Condo to share with the other fellows. My question is, does anybody have experience with the different "Groups" listed on their website? Group 1 runs as low as $240/night, then Group 8 is obviously the most expensive but has 4 rooms. Looking for 3 rooms, anybody with suggestions from their experience on this?

All the condos at Vista Del Mar have at least three bedrooms however, some owners use one bedroom to store personal stuff so they rent those out as 2 bedrooms...this is what you saw for $240 a night. The center units (B/C units) are smaller and only have the one balcony looking out over the ocean. The corner units (A/D units) are larger with balconies for every bedroom as well as the main balcony overlooking the ocean.

The top floor has the penthouse units which are usually much more expensive. The center Penthouse have 4 bedrooms while the corner units have 5.

There are a LOT of different places that rent out these condos, not just the Vista Del Mar website. Search around or PM me and I can give you a LOT of different links to book these condos. I've seen guys save hundreds of dollars bargaining between the different places.

You are for sure on the right track...no better place to stay in Jaco for the quality of the rooms, convience to downtown and the girls right there on the same property.

Here's a link I use often to compare Vista Mar condos with pretty extensive pictures of each condo as well as rates and information. The rates they show here include taxes, breakfast and daily cleaning. I put quite a few of our clients in Vista Mar condos when they are a group of 2-4 people. It's a great place to stay and party for sure.
