It has been over a year and so much has changed. I always stayed with Daren at the Castillo or Zona Blue but both are closed. SL is full and now I am looking at hotels .com to find a room. Ridiculous. I got a last minute Air deal for Sunday 25th checking out Friday the 30th before the big parties. There are 3 of us but not sure where to stay now that even may have rooms.

Mona Lisa looks ok is there a tica fee?
I use to walk past the Hemmingway by new fantasies but never stayed there

Any ideas for someone that liked Castillo is close to Bario Amon no tica fee and might still have some rooms?

Mona Lisa and Dunn Inn are both good choices.....some of the rooms at ML have been remodeled and will cost more than the old ones.....neither has a chica fee!!

La Amistad?

Jaco is always a good time over Halloween.

La Amistad is all booked up. Two or three days ago I booked a room at Dunn Inn. They still had more rooms available then, but some of their rooms don't have a/c.

If the Dunn Inn is booked, try the Morazan. It's only a block from the Del Rey, and no chica fee. The prices are relatively inexpensive. Just a caveat...unless you like to party very late, bring a set of earplugs...you will need them.

All great suggestions thank you. Looks like it will be Mona Lisa.
