The Redcoats are set to invade Costa Rica on May 4, 2016. British Airways has announce that it will begin routes to Costa Rica next year on their 275 passenger Boeing 777. The route will be between Gatwick International (LGW) and San Jose (SJO) starting with twice a week routes on Tuesday and Saturdays during the green season May 4, - Nov. 30th, and 3 times a week during the dry season, with routes on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. They will have with returning routes back to Gatwick the same day.Now we will have routes from Madrid, Spain, Frankfort, Germany and London, U.K. Lets give our European friends a big Pura Vida welcome.

Been seeing a lot of Brits on another forum I use moaning about how the attitudes and service of girls in Pattaya has plummeted over the last couple of years. Maybe some of them will take advantage of the pleasures to be had in CR.

We get planeloads of them in Vegas, they are certainly, unequivocally, the biggest drunkards in the world. In Las Vegas, their goal every night is to engage in shenanigans similar to the "Hangover" movies. Good luck to the chicas in sjo dealing with those guys.

I have used Iberia on my 5 Costa Rica trips good news on the BA direct flight for me. And as the are both one world you can use your Iberia miles on BA and vica versa..

London is a great mongering hub 2 hours to Germany, direct flight to Thailand, Hong Kong,
Dubai Jakarta etc .

Even in London independent ******* are legal...a little more expensive but you do get some great service ******* here as well.with many forums websites and reviews on local *******..Btwn 100-200 pounds an hour I know expensive but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do..

anyone wants any info pm me will happily pass it on...

This drunkard brit who enjoys life and has had many good business deals with people from all nationalities really enjoys SJO made some good friends there have stayed in the SL delrey, Cocal.

Once a year latin America for holiday three times a year Asia for 'work' life is good so far!

Not bad you get your own entertainment system etc foods the same generic crap but the service is always friendly on the European short haul sectors they are simple quick and efficient..
Famous last words but no major delay lost luggage problems or other issues yet and the lounge in Madrid is well equipped and stocked... the business class is comfortable and I always upgrade on the long flights cheaper than BA, VIRGIN, LUTHANSA, EMIRATES etc but not as good IMHO. PLUS you get 2mb free data on the flight so just enough to check CRT before you land:)!

Every time I go to Amsterdam, everyone there speaks perfect English except the Brits. They can't speak their own language. G.B. Shaw asked, "Why can't the English teach their Ch*ldren how to speak"? He wasn't kidding. They are saying something but they are the only ones who understand it. They all sound like Mick Jagger on a 3 day bender.

Plus they have a special discount shuttle that goes there from London every W/E and they come in and thrash the place. They bring their sleeping bags and sleep 8 to a flophouse room and they make their own outdoor urinals, which means anyplace they so please.

I generally don't have any problem with the Brits. But a few months ago I was standing next to a middle-aged guy in Bar Poas and he said, out of the blue, Americans are assholes.
I told him that that may or my not be true, but I did have to point out, in a non-belligerent way, that if it weren't for the Americans, his little island would have been invaded and he would have now been surely eating weiswurst and sauerkraut instead of bangers and mash and would be humming Deutchland Uber Alles instead of the Beatles.

Sincity, they act the same way here in central Florida on the golf course and worse in the bars. That was one of the reasons I never went to Thailand as I was told that there were a lot Brits there. The other was the plane ride.

Please, let's keep this discussion civil. Members are expected to behave as gentleman and respect others. For example, generalizing that all British or American people behave badly or are unwelcome in Costa Rica is disrespectful.

I'm sorry.I would never pick on a minority. I just don't consider the Brits a persecuted minority. They invented racial bigotry. They tried to take over the world in the name of their own racial superiority. Things have changed since than. Some still have that attitude. So sometimes I like to see if they can take it. But I won't do it again on this site.
