There is a new bus terminal scheduled to open this coming week. It will serve the buses that go to Jaco beginning on Monday, August 3 as well as some other routes, mainly to Guanacaste. It is called Terminal 7-10 and is located somewhere between 7th Avenue and 10th Street (Calle).

On the Garabito website, you can look at the departure schedule to see how many seats have been already sold for a particular departure time.

AND..... you can see the departure times for the extra busses that they put on the route for the weekends. These extra runs are not always posted prominently along with the regular runs. You need to look at the schedule for a PARTICULAR day to see the departure times for the extra busses.
