I have never, ever seen a day like today. Looks like everyone wants a piece of the pie. Bidding is especially heavy between United, Spirit and the new player, Southwest. Check all the southern Hubs like Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix and Los Angeles. I am getting bombarded with fare updates. Check this out. Phoenix to SJO on United. $265 r.t.
Fall/Winter travel. No peak holiday travel at this price.
Travel between late October and mid-February. Only a few same-day connections are available. Otherwise, an overnight layover in a connecting city is required for this fare.
Seats are not available on all flights or all dates of travel. You may need to have flexible travel dates to find this fare. Fares for travel on holidays may be higher.
All mandatory taxes/fees are included in the price. Tax-inclusive fare may be a few dollars higher or lower depending on the airport you connect through, if any. Baggage fees, if applicable, and other optional fees are not included. FOUND USING FLEXIBLE DATES ON: United

CRT should make Southwest Airlines an honorary member. Rates out of Dallas and Houston are looking better everyday. It's amazing how greedy American and United had become. I hope someday that doctors and hospitals get a competitor. Looks like Washington finally got one. They call him The Donald. A politician too rich to be bought. Naw, never happen but it's interesting.

Ugh. Booked on Monday...on Avianca from SFO to San Jose...thought it was a little high, but only 6 weeks away so booked it. $800. Today...$650. Breaks of the game....Wanted the flight out of SFO with only the short stop in San Salvador on the red eye so I can work Thursday Sept 3...and be there by 10 am Sept. 4th. Sometimes you wins, sometimes you loses...but is it really a loss? I'll be there!! Better than waiting and not get the flight you want I guess...
