I find myself in a bad situation. Just ended a LTR with a crazy tica. Now, no home and another week in CR. My now ex destroyed my cash flow. Where is a safe, yet inexpensive hotel with possibly weekly rates?
Please don't trash me for breaking the cardinal rule of "rent, don't buy". This is tough enough as is. 14 trips and I'm still learning.

Thanks guys. I couldn't contact the Freebird by phone. Sent an email once I got WiFi. Hoping to hear back in the morning. Currently checked in across the street. Hotel Dona Ines. $30 a night. The Freebird is much nicer. Keeping my fingers crossed.

not to focus on your plight... but can you elaborate on how the woman destroyed your cashflow or did you mean nearterm finances? Just would like to learn a lesson from another persons mistake here and you maybe would help someone else too.

You should go by & speak directly to Dennis. He is notorious about not replying or answering the phone.

$30/night will be hard to beat though!

Check The Hemingway Inn, Ave.9, behind the INS building. It is not a wonderful property, but it may be cheap for a week.

Jimmy's OUTSTANDING customer service is a good reason to give Zona 2 our business.

The short-term rooms, the hotel rooms, and the bar are top-notch.

The girls there are sweet, too. You won't be sorry.

Amazing here. Jim is a great guy, the staff is awesome, the ladies make me drool, and the beer is ice cold. My personal hell turned around very fast due to Jims kindness.
