there is a planned taxi strike tomorrow. Drivers are striking against an increase in gasoline and a future DECREASE in taxi rates. |

Private-car services are an excellent alternative; sure wouldn't want to be a pirata though in the crosshairs of those striking...I'd expect some violence there. Seems like the legal taxistas have a good case, in this time of very depressed petro prices. |
