I just noticed there were some post about the safes at the Mona Lisa Hotel. Since my last post 6 months ago we have installed new cameras in the halls on the third and fourth floors covering all areas. We have new night security guards, new night doormen, new night reception desk, new night maintenance man. All problems in the past were at night so we replaced the night employees. Also 6 months ago we opened up the Casino bank safe to the guest of the hotel. You can put your money in the Casino Safe any time with our staff. Your money in the Casino bank is 100% guaranteed. It is open 20 hours a day for your convenience. We've done everything we feel possible to make the hotel safer for our guests. There has not been a compliant in the last six months that I am aware of. If you have a complaint of any kind it is our pleasure to be of Service. Guy Grand guest Service Manager 506 2221-7069 or 800 452-6942 Please let me know if I can assist you in any way possible. |

Been staying there for a week every month since they took over. IMHO the whole safe thing is bull, I have yet to meet or personally talk to someone who has lost anything at the ML. Of course I have at least the same intelligence or maybe even better than a head of lettuce and I make it a habit not to get so drunk I can barely walk and then invite 2 or 3 putas to my room for a party and later blame the hotel for my lack of good smarts. You run a top-notch operation Guy. See you in a couple of weeks. |

Evidently you aren't smarter than a head of lettuce. You should report on YOUR experience and let others report on their own. To come on here and call people liars is pretty petty my man. If you were smarter than a head of lettuce, you could read Guy's post and notice that they have new night security, new night doormen, new night front-desk and a new night maintenance man. Now if there weren't any problems in the past, why would they make all these changes? Use your head (of lettuce). Guy, I'm glad you made these changes and I hope it works out for you. Good luck. |

Clear the lettuce out of your ears and listen....I had money stole from the safe a year ago. I thought Guy said that safe problem was fixed a year ago, kind of unnerving to hear it was still going on just 6 months ago. It is a nice place and I would give the place another chance sometime. I think Guy does his best with what he has to work with. |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyGhEIbZLUU Curious if anyone ever tested this out on one of the hotel safes in CR or MDE ? Seems like every place I have stayed have the same cheap model. I never use hotel safes for anything but my passport and to chica proof my room, Rarely have much cash around and if I do it is somewhere much safer than a hotel safe. |

You still didn't answer my question. Why all the changes if there was never a problem? |

I was there for 28 days in February and I never talked to anyone who was staying there that had any problems. |

Excellent....and I hope it stays that way. But why the changes if there was never any problems? Trust me, I like the place...but it has problems and I hope they have been addressed now. But your experience obviously was different than many others. |

Kojo96-- read the above post 3 or 4 times and see if any bells go off upstairs.......I had $300 stolen from my safe at ML. No one ever said it happens to every single guest, and you certainly have not spoken to or met every single guest!! |

Anyone staying at a gulch hotel couple probably answer this, most if not all hotels use the same cheap safes.. |

Never said I have met every single guest, but with a 6 day stay monthly since it transitioned from the Clarion to the Mona Lisa I have met a lot of them. I will be there in a couple of weeks for another visit and if I get ripped off I will let you know. But, I seriously doubt it. |

Before letting any chica into my room, I usually ask to inspect their handbag to make sure they aren't carrying any drugs, weapons, or a potato. |

You mean to tell me after all those visits to ML you haven't met and talked to every guest that's ever stayed there!! I find that hard to believe!! ( possibly a little sarcasm) |
